How to Back up Portions of Photo Library of iCloud

  1. Linked the external drive to the Mac using USB-C, USB, or Thunderbolt.
  2. Launch the Photos app option.
  3. Choose the video and photos that you like to back up.
  4. Navigate to the File section.
  5. Hang over the Export button.
  6. Choose Export basic Original for # Photos or Videos or the Export # Photos or Video option.
  7. Tap on the option for Subfolder Format and File Name, and enter content as preferred.
