Remnant From the Ashes: Locate All Subject 2923 DLC Weapons
Remnant From the Ashes promised their fans they will introduce new DLC weapons in Subject 2923. Indeed, there’s already no shortage of weapons in the game, but adding more weapons to draw the attention of players back in the game is a wise move. Now that new DLC weapons are available in the game, players have to find their location to add them to the collection.
Every weapon has some specialty, and in the same way, the process of acquiring those weapons is also different every time. To obtain these new weapons, you need to solve the puzzles and kill the bosses. Right now, newly introduced weapons are located in a separate location. All those weapons have various weaknesses and strengths, so make sure to understand those features correctly to deal with bigger enemies easily.
HOW TO LOCATE NEW DLC WEAPONS IN REMNANT FROM THE ASHES
Subject 2923 included a total of 7 DLC weapons. Among 7 weapons, 3 are melee-based, and 4 are ranged weapons.
MACHINE PISTOL LOCATION
You can acquire the Machine Pistol in the early stage of Subject 2923 at the “Ward Prime” site. On the B1 floor, you can locate the “Ward Prime Office.” There you need to solve a puzzle by entering the code in a nearby computer. You can find code to solve the puzzle, or you can also use code 241351. After mentioning the code, you will be allowed to open the storage room that is attached to the Ward Prime Office. Move inside the office, and search for the locker to get the Machine Pistol. However, this does not have any of the mods to attach.
FUSION RIFLE LOCATION
It is also available on the Ward Prime site. You will get this rifle when you defeat a final boss. However, there’s no chance of missing this rifle because after defeating “Harsgaard,” you will obtain this weapon. After you win the battle, the Fusion Rifle will be available in your inventory. You can attach it with a mod named “ Fusion Cannon.” Once you successfully attach it, you will be able to shoot an energy beam through the enemies. Its single charge can put 180 damage, but you can enhance it up to 1,080 by shooting many charges.
SAWED-OFF LOCATION
Get to the “Frieran Sea” to get the Sawed-Off gun. As compared to previous tours, it will be slightly easy for you. During your discovery, move to an NPC named “Sebum.” You might remember him if you completed the quest of killing the Packmaster for his tusk. If you check his selling items, you will find that he sells a new weapon for just 450 scraps. Just pay the 450 scraps and Sawed-Off will be yours. However, you cannot upgrade this gun because there’s no mod available for it.
ALTERNATOR LOCATION
The alternator is the first long gun that you need to craft. To craft this gun, the most important material you will require is “Cold Cell.” However, you cannot get this material easily. You have to kill the bosses “Vargr” and “The Crimson Hold Brudvaak.” Ensure you get to kill the Brudvaak first because you can only get Cold Cell if Vargr dies second. After acquiring Cold Cell, get back to Ward 13, and craft the Alternator. This gun also has a mod named “Incinerator” that can shoot 11 fireballs with 45 damage on every 2 meters. It will burn the enemy with over 300 damage in 10 seconds.
FROSTBORNE LOCATION
You can get this weapon nearly at the “Fellmourn Burrow” checkpoint. Just cross the bridge and move down through stairs in a small size room. Locate the secret tunnel behind the bookshelf. Just destroy the bookshelf, and it will send you in a corridor where Frostborne is waiting for you. The available mod for this ax is “Cold Strike.” While striking the enemy, it will impact as a stack of frostbite.
CHAIN BLADE LOCATION
The second weapon you need to craft is Chain Blade. Similar to the “Alternator” weapon, you need to get a particular drop from bosses Vargr and Brudvaak. The only thing changed here is that now you need to kill the bosses in reverse order. Kill Brudvaak secondly, and it will provide you with the drop of “Steel of Agony” material. After getting the drop, get back to Ward 13 for crafting a fresh Chain Blade. “Chain Strike” is the mod of this weapon, and it only expands the range of charge attacks.
WORLD’S EDGE LOCATION
World’s Edge is the final weapon you will get from the Subject 2923. Defeat the last boss of the DLC zone, “Harsgaard,” and he will drop a “Root Neoplasm” material. Use that final craft material to craft one of the finest sword of the game. It has an awesome mod name “Horizon Strike” that can pierce through many enemies through charge attacks.
CONCLUSION
Here is the list of all Subject 2923 DLC weapons. Every weapon among the list owns a unique power. However, you can use the mod to improve the power of the weapon. Make sure to acquire every weapon to have the best collection of weapons.
