Boruto: Deepa’s Sadistic Secret

 

Deepa has emerged as an exciting villain on Boruto. It is intriguing that he was created especially for the Boruto anime and was not a part of the manga. However, he has made a significant impact on the show in the last few episodes. His brutality adds terror, which is suitable for the plot. He rose up to become a fan favorite in a short time because of his lightning-fast speed and impenetrable body. However, in the show’s latest episode, a cruel secret is revealed about the villain that even the most die-hard Boruto fans were not ready for. The Boruto anime finally revealed why Deepa is working with Victor, and it is more vicious than previously thought. 

Just a few episodes ago, Deepa had claimed that he wished to eat God Tree’s fruit. Since Jigen wanted everyone in the crew to be benefitted by the powers that the fruit could give, it didn’t seem suspicious. It appeared that Deepa’s wish to eat the fruit was nothing but driven by his desire to become more powerful. However, in the latest episode, when Sarada and Boruto confronted him again, he revealed some dark secrets. While Konohamaru is busy handling the medical chief, Sarada and Boruto come toe-to-toe against Deepa repeatedly. When they confronted each other last time, Deepa had left Mitsuki on the brink of death while others sustained severe injuries. 

During this recent confrontation, Deepa confesses to Boruto that he is a cannibal, just like Shojoji. So, the desire to eat the fruit of the God Tree was never driven by a desire to obtain more power. He only wants to eat the food to taste all the flavors and textures and enjoy the essence of all the people that the tree has devoured until now. 

Now that Sarada and Boruto have dared to rechallenge him, he would not hesitate in feasting on them and their ambitions. He says that their drive to win will make them taste even better. He thinks that children need more time since their flavors take a much longer time to improve; that is why he left Shikadai’s team. If his victims are drive-by anger and hate, they taste even better. He travels the world as a rogue because he is a cannibal, which is the sole reason for him breaking ranks with Kara.

As an upgraded Boruto and Sarada with Sharingan are ready for the fight to begin, Sarada licks his lips in anticipation. He loves death, suffering, and destruction. His love for chaos excites him and makes him appear like Heath Ledger’s Joker. As Boruto prepares to face him, he will have to not just fight the strongest enemy until now, but he has no other option but to win. If Boruto fails, Deepa is prepared to make him and Sarada his next meal.
